Role Description:
The Human Resources Director at EBEL Consulting is a part-time, remote role responsible for leading HR strategy and overseeing core people operations for both the firm and its clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing, updating, and implementing HR policies and procedures; advising on employee relations issues; and guiding performance management processes. The role also involves ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws, supporting workforce planning, and counseling leaders on HR best practices. The Human Resources Director will collaborate with consulting teams to align HR initiatives with business objectives, provide coaching to managers, and contribute to a positive, inclusive, and compliant work environment.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated expertise in Human Resources (HR) operations and strategic HR leadership. Strong knowledge of HR Policies and the ability to design, implement, and maintain compliant, practical guidelines. Proven experience in Employee Relations, including conflict resolution, coaching, and fostering an inclusive workplace culture. Hands-on experience with Performance Management, including goal-setting frameworks, feedback processes, and evaluation systems. Solid understanding of Labor and Employment Law and experience ensuring organizational compliance across relevant jurisdictions. Excellent communication, consultation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. Experience working remotely and managing priorities in a part-time, flexible environment. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; advanced HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) are beneficial. Background in professional services or consulting environments is an advantage.
