About the role
FirstEnergy in New Jersey seeks a Substation Engineer to provide field engineering services and technical support for maintenance, testing and commissioning of substation equipment up to 500kV. The role is largely field-based, with travel to various company and customer sites as needed.
Qualified candidates have a BS in Electrical, Civil or Mechanical Engineering (ABET), an FE certificate preferred, and 3+ years of engineering experience. Knowledge of protection and control gear is a plus.
