Call Center Support I-1Under close supervision, this position will support internal and external clients and customers by routing phone calls, answering questions, and resolving basic problems, while providing first in class customer service.Key Responsibilities:Answer inbound customer service calls and inquiries via the telephone, email, or chat; provide first-level response, troubleshoot issues, resolve basic technical problems, and redirect phone calls when appropriateAdminister programs, projects, and/or processes specific to the operating unit servedEngage in ongoing training and professional development activities focused on enhancing skills and abilities to grow within the industryResearch and report on client complaints, help resolve client complaints, and ensure that problems can be resolved in a timely manner; monitor and follow-up with internal teams for feedback on outstanding complaintsIdentify employee, client, or customer issues and determine appropriate course of action for effective resolutionReceive and respond to routine correspondence following established procedures not requiring management reviewUnderstand and implement administrative, application, or software systems, procedures, policies, and practicesCommunicate with people within and outside of the organization (answering questions, addressing concerns, resolving basic problems, etc.)Collaborate with team and internal business partners to resolve basic challenges and develop useful knowledge becoming fluent in the language of logistics and transportationMinimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 1 year of customer service-related experience and/or military equivalentPreferred Qualifications: College coursework experience and/or 1 year of experience within customer service or help desk atmosphereAbility to work both individually and as a teamAbility to use a logical approach to derive a specific conclusion from general ideasExperience in the transportation industryExperience working in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of J.B. HuntProficient Computer Skills including Microsoft Office Suit (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.)Ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations to provide excellent serviceAbility to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas through various mediumsAbility to maintain professionalism while dealing with difficult individualsThis position is not eligible for employment-based sponsorship.Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
