Front Desk AssociateTemporary ON-SITE opportunity to assist at a local government Voter Services Office in preparation for the 2026 Fall Election. This assignment starts September 8th and is expected to run through approximately the end of November 2026.A day in the life of a Front Desk Associate:Serve as the first point of contact for members of the public visiting the Voter Services OfficeGreet and assist visitors in a professional, friendly, and helpful mannerAnswer questions and provide general information regarding voter services, registration, ballot applications, and election-related processesAssist visitors with completing or submitting forms and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member when neededHandle inbound and outbound phone calls, emails, and general inquiriesAssist with processing voter registration materials, ballot applications, mail, and other election-related documentsMaintain accurate records and complete data entry and other clerical/administrative tasksProtect confidential and sensitive voter information while interacting with the publicAssist with special projects and other office duties as needed, which may include standing and light liftingAs the election approaches, duties may include assisting at various sites as neededRequirements of a Front Desk Associate:Previous experience in a front desk, customer service, administrative, or public-facing office environment preferredComfortable interacting face-to-face with a diverse range of members of the publicProfessional, friendly, and patient demeanor with strong customer service skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to follow established proceduresDependable and consistent in attendance and performanceAbility to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive voter and election-related informationComfortable working in a busy environment while assisting multiple visitors and managing competing prioritiesEOE Employer
