Job TitleThis job is responsible for working with the Supervisors and assisting in training and developing the team, monitoring production performance, ensuring production and quality controls are met while adhering to the work instructions for the area of responsibility. This role is based at our Irving, TX location with a schedule of Monday - Friday from 11:30 am to 8:00 pmDuties and Responsibilities Participate in daily stand-up meetings with the Supervisor. Work with the Supervisor to reallocate resources, including employees, supplies, equipment, and products, as needed to meet customer and operational goals. Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper workflow and timely resolution of operational issues. Serve as a point of contact for employees and assist with escalations during the shift. Identify process improvement opportunities and submit recommendations to the Supervisor and Engineering teams. Assist the Supervisor with implementing operational changes and adjustments on the warehouse floor. Perform on-the-job training, refresher training, and workstation assessments. Monitor inventory levels and aging inventory within the area of responsibility. Monitor daily KPIs, SLAs, productivity, and quality metrics, and proactively support corrective actions when performance falls below target. Compile and analyze operational data and complete daily reports. Communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, managers, and cross-functional teams. Maintain proficiency and certification in the operational area being supported. Promote and maintain a safe work environment by ensuring associates follow all safety procedures and immediately escalating safety concerns. Lead by example and maintain a hands-on presence in the operation, supporting associates and assisting with operational activities when necessary to meet business objectives. Train, coach, and mentor associates while reinforcing productivity, quality, safety, and attendance expectations.
Requirements: 1+ years of experience leading, training, coaching, or directing employees in a manufacturing, logistics, warehouse, or operations environment. High level of computer proficiency, including the ability to navigate multiple systems, analyze data, and utilize reporting tools effectively. Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed productivity, quality, and operational performance expectations while serving as a role model for associates. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple operational priorities. Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization. Demonstrated ability to work independently while also collaborating with Supervisors and cross-functional teams.
Helpful Skills/Experience: Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification. Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Power BI.Experience analyzing operational data and generating reports to support business decisions. Experience using Oracle, Power BI, SQL, warehouse management systems, or similar reporting and operational platforms. Experience training, coaching, and developing associates in a warehouse or operational environment. Strong continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify and recommend process improvements. Pay Range$ 17,34 - $ 27,75 Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
