Steel Shear Operator

Duties and Responsibilities: Set up and operate steel shears and metal-cutting equipment Measure and cut metal to specified dimensions Read and follow work orders, blueprints, or production specifications Inspect materials and finished cuts for accuracy and quality Safely load, position, and handle metal materials Make basic machine adjustments as needed Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements Work efficiently to meet production goals and deadlines Perform other production duties as needed
