About the role
Focused on pre-sale activities, the full-time HVAC Application Engineer will collaborate with sales teams and clients to provide technical expertise in HVAC system design, estimation, and proposal development while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide expert guidance on HVAC system designs and equipment selections
Perform detailed cost estimations and develop accurate proposals aligned with project budgets and timelines
Evaluate customer needs to recommend appropriate HVAC systems and prepare detailed technical proposals and specificationsRequired qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience (5+ years) in HVAC engineering with a focus on pre-sale activities
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and industry standards
Excellent understanding of energy codes and building regulations
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
