Senior Mechanical Engineer (HVAC/Plumbing)

What You’ll Do: We’re seeking aSenior Mechanical Engineerto lead the design and coordination ofHVAC and plumbing systemsfor a wide range of commercial, institutional, and residential projects. This is a senior-level role ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys mentoring junior staff, and is passionate about delivering high-quality mechanical solutions. Lead mechanical system design (HVAC, plumbing) from concept through construction documents Coordinate with architects, structural, electrical, and civil teams to ensure fully integrated designs Oversee and mentor junior mechanical designers and EITs Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and code compliance reviews Conduct QA/QC on plans, specs, and reports Support field coordination, construction administration, and client meetings as needed RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (PE preferred) Typically, 7+ years of experience in mechanical system design for buildings Strong background in HVAC and plumbing system design Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; familiarity with energy modeling and load calculation software is a plus Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset Experience with multi-disciplinary teams and MEP coordination

What We Offer: We are targeting abase salaryof $90,000 to $130,000, but it is determined by several factors including education, experience, and a history of working in the Denver metro area.
