Softtek Integration Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Engineer_AI Driven at Dallas, TX. This is a Full-time position.
Job Description:
Manage, configure, maintain, and monitor enterprise security tools and platforms to ensure effective protection of organizational systems and data. Administer Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS) and investigate alerts related to suspicious or malicious activities. Manage endpoint security, antivirus, and anti-malware solutions, ensuring policies, signatures, and agents remain current and operational. Administer Identity and Access Management (IAM) and access-control solutions to support secure authentication, authorization, and appropriate user access. Operate and maintain vulnerability management tools, including scheduling vulnerability scans, reviewing findings, identifying security risks, and coordinating remediation activities. Manage application security scanning tools, including SAST, DAST, and other security-testing technologies used to identify application vulnerabilities. Continuously monitor the health, availability, performance, and effectiveness of security solutions. Monitor and analyze security alerts and events, investigate potential threats, and support appropriate incident response and remediation activities. Perform regular security tool upgrades, patches, signature updates, and configuration changes to maintain security and operational effectiveness. Troubleshoot security-tool issues and coordinate with infrastructure, application, network, and vendor support teams for resolution. Review security configurations and policies periodically to identify gaps, misconfigurations, and opportunities for improvement. Maintain documentation related to security-tool configurations, operational procedures, security policies, incidents, and remediation activities. Assist with security assessments, audits, vulnerability remediation, and compliance-related activities. Support the implementation and integration of new cybersecurity technologies based on organizational requirements. Collaborate with IT, network, cloud, application, and cybersecurity teams to strengthen the organization's overall security posture.
Required Technical Skills:
Security Tool Administration and Management Cybersecurity Operations Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS) Endpoint Protection / Antivirus / Anti-Malware Identity and Access Management (IAM) Access Control and Authentication Vulnerability Assessment and Management Application Security Testing SAST / DAST Security Scanning Security Monitoring and Alert Analysis Security Incident Investigation and Response Vulnerability Remediation and Patch Management Security Configuration Management Security Tool Troubleshooting Risk Identification and Mitigation Security Reporting and Documentation Preferred Skills Knowledge of network, endpoint, application, cloud, and infrastructure security concepts. Understanding of common cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques. Experience analyzing security alerts and determining appropriate remediation actions. Familiarity with vulnerability management and security risk-prioritization processes. Understanding of authentication, authorization, least privilege, and role-based access control. Ability to troubleshoot security-tool integrations and operational issues. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Good communication and documentation skills. Ability to coordinate with technical teams, security stakeholders, and third-party security vendors.
