Water/Wastewater Design Engineer

Compensation: $60,000 - $85,000 / year
This position requires 40 hours per week in our Reno office. (Not remote or hybrid.)
While this position is based in Reno, NV, we are open to candidates in other markets. For the right candidate, relocation support is available as part of our total rewards package and can be tailored to individual needs—including moving expenses and transition assistance—to ensure a smooth relocation experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Experience working in the Water and Wastewater field. Relevant experience shall include design of treatment facilities, collection systems, booster and pump stations, water, reclaimed water, and wastewater master plans.
Experience with construction-related engineering services with the ability to review shop drawings, RFIs, issuing engineers’ directives, etc.
Computer experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook software capabilities.
Requirements
Civil Engineering degree (EIT – Engineer‑In‑Training license preferred, but not required).
Minimum of two (2) to four (4) years of relevant experience in Water/Wastewater related design and experience with construction-related engineering services.
Ability to work in a team environment with the work involving studies, detailed design, and engineering services during construction.
Ability to take technical direction from project managers or principals and complete design tasks and elements. Ability to coordinate with multi‑disciplinary engineering teams.
