About the role

Process Technician Change the world. Love your job. Texas Instruments is seeking an experienced Process Technician to join our team supporting a brand new megafab located in the Silicon Prairie. This technician will be an invaluable part of the team, interfacing and communicating with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to ensure all issues are solved appropriately and efficiently. Additionally, you will provide process and product support to the organization and address production concerns and disposition of production include: Curiosity, Integrity, Drive, Results. Perform technical tests and experiments for engineering in the wafer fabrication area of semiconductor manufacturers. Monitor, audit and provide guidance to line operators once the product is on the line Test new products and provide technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel. Analyze manufacturing tool performance data and protect the line at all costs. Be the eyes and ears of the fab engineering team, highlight and drive solutions to challenges on the floor.
Minimum requirements: Associate's degree in any technical related field AND/OR equivalent military electronics training OR prior technician experience in a wafer fab
Preferred qualifications:
  • Ability to identify, multi-task, and resolve multiple priority issues quickly and efficiently to improve overall fab performance
  • Ability to learn and understand process flow quickly, and support the engineering organization as needed
  • Outstanding organizational, teaming, and troubleshooting skills on electrical and mechanical systems
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Proficient with MS Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPointStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to quickly ramp on new tools and processes
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
  • Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
  • Strong time management skills
