Arizona Youth Sports is seeking enthusiastic, self-motivated individuals to join our team of Flag Football Referees ! Located in Mesa, AZ, we are dedicated to fostering character, effort, and connection through the power of sport. If you’re ready to make a difference on and off the field, we want to hear from you! About the Position As a Flag Football Referee, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring fair play and sportsmanship during our games in the East Valley. You’ll enforce the rules, maintain the flow of the game, and communicate effectively with players and coaches. Whether you’re an experienced referee or new to officiating, we’ll provide the training you need to succeed. This position is perfect for someone who can commit to working Saturdays, with general hours ranging from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM (depending on location). We understand life can get busy, so we’re happy to provide some flexibility if needed.
Key Responsibilities: Officiate flag football games with fairness and integrity.
Ensure games run smoothly and maintain a positive atmosphere. Communicate effectively with players, coaches, and fellow referees. Enforce league rules and promote sportsmanship on the field.
What We’re Looking For: A love for sports, especially football.
Enthusiasm and self-motivation. Strong communication and decision-making skills. Availability to work Saturdays. No prior officiating experience required—we’ll train you!
