About the role
- Fuel and service aircraft before departure using airport fueling equipment and ground service equipment.
- Communicate with the airport dispatch team and other airport personnel
- Record fueling data and fuel dispensing data per aircraft using provided handheld tools
- Record flight data such as destination, flight number, etc.
- Conduct safety checks on service equipment such as fueling carts
- Handle fueling hoses and carts along with other airport fueling equipment
- Other duties as assigned

- Sensory Requirements
- Hear and respond to verbal instructions, environmental sounds, and audible alarms.
- Maintain the following vision capabilities:
- Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less)
- Distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more)
- Color vision (identify and distinguish between colors)
- Peripheral vision (see up/down and side-to-side while focused on a central point)
- Depth perception (assess distance and spatial relationships)
- Ability to adjust focus (sharpen vision at various distances)
- Environmental and Working Conditions
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, snow, and wind.
- Tolerate frequent exposure to:
- Moderate to high noise levels (with use of appropriate hearing protection)
- Fumes, airborne particles, and hazardous substances, materials, or waste
- Work near or around:
- Moving mechanical parts
- High-voltage equipment
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems operating under high pressure
- Work in elevated or precarious positions, such as on lifts, ladders, or elevated platforms.
- EEOC/ADA, but also OFCCP, VEVRAA, and Section 503 expectations
