About the role
JOB OVERVIEW:
Position is responsible for the operation and maintenance of various equipment such as mower, backhoe, skid steer, asphalt roller. SPECIFIC TASKS, DUTIES, & RESPONSIBILITIESMow grass in various city rights-of-way and city property. Use chainsaws to cut or remove trees or tree limbs from right-of-ways. Inspect, clean and service equipment each day of operation or as needed. Assist with concrete and asphalt work. Clearing debris from storm drainage inlets, ditches, and culverts. Assist with storm related cleanup. Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED:
High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree)Valid Louisiana Driver's License Able to work under varying conditions and to perform moderate physical activity. HOURS/SCHEDULINGMonday-Friday 7am-4pm Regular This position is contingent on the successful completion of both a pre-employment background check as well as drug test.
