Shift: 1st Shift 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay:
$26.00 - $28.00 per hour A day in the life At 7:30 AM, you're on the floor in Berea, reviewing the first job ticket of the day. You select the correct mold, stage materials, and complete your setup. As the machines come up to temperature, you dial in parameters to hit spec quickly. Throughout the shift you rotate between presses, watching cycle times, adjusting processes to keep quality tight, and clearing any issues before they become downtime. Finished parts are checked against requirements, scrap is kept in check, and your area stays organized and safe. Before closing out the day, you communicate any equipment or production notes to the team so the next run starts strong.
Core responsibilities:
Set up and operate plastic injection molding machines for scheduled production runsPerform mold changes and complete machine setups efficientlyMonitor machines during production to maintain efficient operationTroubleshoot molding, machine, and process issues to restore stabilityMake process adjustments to consistently maintain product qualityInspect finished parts, verify specifications, and identify defectsPrepare and manage materials used throughout the molding processTrack production output; minimize downtime and reduce scrapKeep equipment and work areas clean, organized, and safeFollow all safety, quality, and production procedures without exceptionCommunicate equipment or production concerns to the appropriate team members What you bring Previous plastic injection molding setup/operator experience (required) Hands-on experience with mold changes and full machine setupsStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsAbility to recognize and correct common injection molding issuesWorking knowledge of manufacturing quality standardsComfort working independently to keep production running efficientlyDependability and keen attention to detailThis is a steady 1st-shift opportunity in Berea with competitive pay for an experienced Injection Mold Setup professional who enjoys owning the process from setup to quality sign-off.
