Compensation: $55,000 - $70,000, based on experience+ Bonuses and Commissions 401k + Company Matching Health, Dental, Vision Insurance Benefits Long/Short Term Disability, Supplemental Accident and Critical Illness Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays Company-Provided Tools and PPEA Day in the Life of the Inside Sales & Project Manager As the Inside Sales & Project Manager, you'll be the go-to contact for customers from initial inquiry through final shipment. You'll review customer requirements and technical drawings, build accurate quotes, and coordinate with Engineering, Operations, and Purchasing to keep projects on track. Your work directly drives customer satisfaction, on-time delivery, and healthy margins, helping the company grow through strong relationships and well-run projects.
Responsibilities include:
  • Responding to inbound customer inquiries and proactively following up on quotes and project opportunities
  • Analyzing customer requirements and recommending products, options, and design features that fit their needs
  • Preparing accurate, timely quotations based on customer specifications and company standards
  • Managing customer projects from quotation through shipment as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams
  • Reviewing customer specifications, drawings, and technical requirements, including CAD drawings and engineering documents
  • Collaborating with Engineering and Design to clarify technical requirements and product configurations
  • Coordinating with Operations, Purchasing, and Customer Service on production schedules, material pricing, and freight quotes
  • Monitoring project status and proactively addressing issues affecting schedule, cost, or customer expectations
  • Defining requirements for specialty purchased materials and components
  • Identifying cost drivers and opportunities for value-engineered solutions
  • Keeping customers updated on quote status, project progress, and delivery schedules
  • Documenting project requirements, specifications, and changes, and maintaining accurate records in company systems
  • Participating in project review meetings and supporting continuous improvement in quoting, order processing, and customer communication
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in inside sales, project management, customer service, manufacturing, or a related role 1+ years of experience selling a technical product
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, CAD drawings, and specifications
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems
  • Ability to work effectively with customers and cross-functional teams
