Construction Assistant Superintendent (North Miami, FL) Luxury Hospitality, Luxury High-Rise Residential, Custom Single-Family Estates Position Summary We are seeking an Assistant Superintendent who is passionate about building exceptional projects and developing into a lead Superintendent. This role supports the Superintendent in managing daily field operations, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with the highest standards of quality expected on luxury hospitality, luxury condominium, and custom estate projects. YOU WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR Field OperationsAssist the Superintendent with daily management of construction activities.Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and deliveries.Monitor daily progress and communicate field updates.Ensure work is performed according to plans, specifications, and contract documents.Help maintain project schedules and sequencing of work.Verify manpower requirements are being met.Quality ControlPerform daily quality inspections.Identify deficiencies and ensure corrective action is completed.Assist with punch lists throughout the project.Verify installation meets architectural standards and owner expectations.Protect finished work from damage.SafetyPromote and enforce company safety standards.Conduct daily site safety observations.Participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings.Ensure subcontractors maintain OSHA compliance.Document and report safety concerns immediately.CoordinationAssist with coordination between architects, engineers, consultants, ownership representatives, and subcontractors.Support implementation of RFIs, ASIs, field directives, and approved changes.Coordinate inspections and testing.Help resolve field conflicts before they impact production.DocumentationMaintain daily reports.Photograph project progress.Track inspections and approvals.Assist with punch list documentation.Maintain accurate project records.Support project closeout documentation.Schedule ManagementAssist in maintaining the master construction schedule.Coordinate upcoming activities with subcontractors.Monitor long-lead materials and deliveries.Identify potential schedule impacts and communicate them early.Help maintain milestone dates.Client ExperienceRepresent the company professionally with owners, architects, consultants, and subcontractors.Maintain clean, organized, presentation-ready jobsites.Support a collaborative and solutions-focused project environment.Understand that client satisfaction is as important as construction execution.DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
