This role will play a critical part in supporting the company's mid- to long-term growth strategy by identifying, developing, and executing new business opportunities across emerging and high-growth markets. Position Summary: The Manager, Sales & Marketing will lead strategic new business development initiatives aligned with the company's future growth objectives. This role focuses on identifying market opportunities, developing business cases, and driving projects from concept through commercialization. Industry focus is broad and may include plastic-related raw materials and products, as well as new materials, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions. The position requires strong initiative, external engagement, and the ability to operate effectively in an evolving, early-stage business environment.
Key Responsibilities: Identify and evaluate new business opportunities aligned with corporate growth strategyProspect and develop relationships with potential customers in U.S. growth marketsLead cross-functional teams to advance initiatives from concept to executionDevelop business cases, market analyses, and commercialization strategiesManage project timelines, milestones, and deliverablesCollaborate with sales, operations, and corporate teams to support executionBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and suppliersMonitor market trends, emerging technologies, and customer needsDocument project assumptions, risks, and next steps to support management decision-makingIdentify and evaluate potential investment opportunities and lead selected initiativesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) Strong drive and proactive mindset toward new business developmentExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work independently and collaborate cross-functionallyComfortable navigating ambiguity and early-stage business environmentsSales experience in plastics, polymers, or chemical materials Ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural business environmentWillingness to travel as required (up to 50%)
