Clinical Responsibilities Evaluate and manage patients requiring oral and maxillofacial surgical care Perform oral surgery procedures within scope of practice including extractions and related surgical interventions Assess dental infections, impacted teeth, oral lesions, and facial pain conditions Develop treatment plans and coordinate referrals for advanced surgical care when necessary Provide pre-operative and post-operative evaluations and follow-up care Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Requirements:

DDS or DMD required
Completion of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency required
Active North Carolina dental license required/preferred based on facility requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery preferred
Ability to work independently in a correctional medicine environment
