Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Assesses a patient's medical condition by reviewing their medical history, listening to the patient's concerns, and performing a physical examination
Analyzes the patient's posture, spine, and reflexes
Conducts tests, including evaluating a patient's posture
Identifies health problems
Provides neuromusculoskeletal therapy, which involves adjusting a patient's spinal column and other joints by hand
Gives additional treatments, such as applying heat or cold to a patient's injured areas
Advises patients on health and lifestyle issues, such as exercise, nutrition, and sleep habits
Refers patients to other health care professionals, if needed

Minimum Qualifications:

Valid Florida Chiropractic License
Doctor of Chiropractic Degree
Current BLS Certification
Ability to navigate and enter data into an electronic medical records
Culturally sensitive to medical problems and social needs of underserved populations
Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate in writing and interpersonally
Knowledge of medical practice and medical terminology
Knowledge of continuous quality improvement and its mechanisms
Superior knowledge and skill in offering direct treatment to patients in chiropractic related treatment
