Job TitleEducation/Experience: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent certification; experience in the preparation of statistical and financial reports; experience in resume preparation and editing; experience in reception, answering telephones, and general administrative duties; excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to perform comfortably in fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment; ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously; and ability to work as a team member, as well as independently.Qualifications: Preferred qualifications include experience in word processing software; and knowledge of WordPerfect, Excel, and Microsoft Word.Job ResponsibilitiesGreets office visitors, answers and directs telephone calls, and takes and distributes telephone messages.Maintain inventory of supplies.Maintains all bulletin boards.Schedules training room use.Provides general administrative support for the project and management.Represents MAXIMUS and DC WR AND JP program by providing professional image.Provides excellent customer service to customers and employers.Maintains a positive, professional and clean Resource Room.Serves as a source of information regarding DC WR AND JP Resource room and available resources.Types/ generates letters and other documents, as necessary retrieves and logs faxes.Learns program requirements to assist with answering questions.Ensures brochures and postings don't run out and are current.Hands out enrollment packet to customers attending the DC WR AND JP orientation.Directs individuals to appropriate resources.Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
