Job Description: K&S Tire Recycling in Chicago Heights, IL is hiring dependable Yard & Warehouse Workers for our tire recycling operation. This is a physically demanding, hands-on position working indoors and outdoors around trucks and industrial equipment.
Responsibilities: Load and unload tires from trucks and trailers Move, roll, stack and organize tires by hand or dolly Sort and grade used tires Move scrap and recyclable materials Maintain clean, organized work areas Assist warehouse, yard and production operations Work safely around forklifts, loaders, conveyors and machinery
Requirements: Ability to repeatedly lift and handle up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, bend, push, pull and perform physical work throughout the shift Ability to work indoors/outdoors in varying temperatures Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures Minimum 1 year warehouse, tire, recycling, automotive, construction, landscaping, manufacturing, or general labor experience is required.
