Mechanical Assembly TechnicianSUMMARY: Responsible for mechanical assembly and mounting of electrical equipment. Use instructions, drawings, layouts, BOMS and wiring diagrams to perform work.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reportsAccurately follow layout dimensioning and specifications when applicablePhysical mounting of components with appropriate hardwareComplete other duties, as assigned by the supervisorSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilitiesQUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or 1-3 years wiring experience, or equivalent combination of education and experienceMust be able to work with minimal supervision, be proactive and possess strong communication skills both written and verbalMust be able to work well in a team environmentMust be able to read, write and follow instructionsAttention to detail and good problem-solving skillsExcellent time management and organizational skillsPHYSICAL DEMANDS:Continually required to stand, walk, squat, bend, read, talk and hearContinually required to utilize hand and finger dexterityRequired to climb ladder or step stool
