About the role

Psychiatrist: Hourly, Remote/Hybrid We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. The psychiatrist will work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to promote the emotional and behavioral wellbeing of clients in an outpatient setting. This position offers the unique opportunity to contribute to a NYS MHOTRS program and increasing mental health support in an underserved community.
Key Responsibilities: Provide psychiatric evaluations and assessments to children, adolescents, and adults, identifying appropriate treatment plans. Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychotropic medications based on patient needs, ensuring optimal treatment outcomes and ongoing management of psychiatric conditions. Maintain documentation of clinical notes, assessments, and treatment plans. Engage in case reviews and monthly high-risk meetings. Review and sign off on clinical documentation (i.e. treatment plans/physical review notes/etc.)
Qualifications: MD or DO with a specialization in Psychiatry. Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry. Child/adolescent psychiatry certification or child/adolescent experience preferred. Valid New York State medical license. Valid DEA license.
Hours: Flexible hours, potential to grow, minimum 5 hours/month
Pay: $200.00 per hour
