About the role
Serving as a first line advisor within the Business Risk Group, the remote Director, Business Risk Advisor will provide risk-focused guidance on products, partnerships, and strategic initiatives, collaborating with compliance, legal, and risk teams to ensure informed decision-making while balancing risk and opportunity.
Key responsibilities
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to assess new products and deliver risk and regulatory guidance that supports innovation
Advise leadership on complex risk and regulatory matters, providing practical solutions that balance innovation and risk management
Interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable business and risk requirements, presenting findings to senior leadership and stakeholders
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience; Master's degree preferred
Minimum of 12 years of related experience
Strong organizational skills
Ability to leverage data and analytical methodologies for decision-making
Experience in interpreting laws and regulations related to financial services
