Confidential ReceptionistAct as confidential receptionist to school office staff, to assure the efficient operation of the office and contribute to the effective, prompt and courteous handling of all inquiries and visitors.Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. General clerical skills. Exceptional public relations skills. Ability to handle front office environment. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs., be able to exert 25-30 lbs. of force frequently, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Ability to walk, reach, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, and to sit for long periods of time. Must pass a background clearance. Must obtain an Arizona IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.Term of Employment: 228 Days; 11 MonthsCompensation: Per QCUSD salary schedule for applicable positionBenefits: As per QCUSD District policyReports To: PrincipalHours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 7:30-4:00 pmClassification: Non-ExemptPerformance Responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:Open and close the front office dailyPlace and receive telephone calls and record messagesOrder and maintain supplies as neededAssist in office with appointments, calls, etcWelcome visitors and arrange for their comfort, and screen unexpected callers in accordance with pre-determined proceduresProcess and distribute incoming/outgoing mailMaintain a high level of confidentiality in all aspects of school businessServe as liaison to school offices in emergenciesOperate and monitor all office equipmentMaintain a regular filing system, as well as a set of locked confidential files, and process correspondence as instructedAccept payments and issue receiptsPerform other job-related duties as assigned to advance district prioritiesPhysical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
