About the role
General Duties Coordinate efforts of contractors involved with finishing construction of new or redesigned areas for plant facility while managing projects being on time, on budget and to specification.
Description Coordinate efforts of contractors involved with finishing construction of new or redesigned areas for plant facility while managing projects being on time, on budget and to specification.
Lead efforts pertaining to designing, planning, and developing the layout of special projects.
Obtain competitive bids for future projects.
Assign necessary personnel to designated areas for completion of projects.
Arrange to have appropriate records prepared and maintained.
Attend meetings as needed or called.
Frequent communication with maintenance, purchasing, production, storeroom, and other departments involved with any aspect of projects.
Perform various other duties as needed or assigned.
Establishing budget for Capital Planning
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications Previous Experience in construction, mechanical contract work, or any building trades.
Computer Skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office, and CAD drafting programs.
SAP Experience Preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to organize and coordinate large projects.
Ability to work in areas with exposure to slippery floors, extreme temperature variations, loud noise, chemicals, sharp objects (knives), machinery, and vehicles
Work 40+ hours per week in office and plant facilities, or as needed.
