About the role
Graphic Designer & Creative Content Lead, Lights.com Lights.com is an online lighting retailer. We're a small, fast-moving team and we're looking for a designer who can own how we look across email, web, social, and ads.
Responsibilities:
Design marketing emails and campaigns, from concept to send-ready Design and update website pages, including landing pages, collections, homepage banners, and room galleries Create graphics for promotions, paid ads, and social media across desktop and mobile Support our Production Management team by generating and refining room-scene imagery using our in-house image pipeline Edit and prepare product images for our online catalog Edit short-form video for social, ads, and product pages Write and produce content: social posts, email copy, and product and promotional copy Manage day-to-day posting on our social channels Develop creative concepts for campaigns and product launches Manage your own timeline and hit deadlines across many small projects at once Requirements 3+ years of graphic design experience, with a portfolio that shows range Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and/or Figma Hands-on experience with AI image and video tools Video editing skills (Premiere, Cap Cut, or similar)Experience with email design platforms (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar)Strong grasp of design fundamentals: color, layout, typography, grid systems Clear, on-brand writing Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment with minimal hand-holding Able to work in our Hackensack, NJ office at least 3 days a week Nice to have Shopify experience Curiosity and aptitude for learning new tech skills Comfort working in Airtable and PodioE-commerce, home decor, or interior design interest Details Hybrid, minimum 3 days per week in office, Hackensack, NJ. Open to part time or 3/4 time
