Scrum Master 5+ month contract that could convert 100% remote$60-65/hr W2
Responsibilities: Define, implement, and continuously improve a tailored Agile delivery methodology for D&A that balances agility, predictability, and accountability. Lead Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, sprint demos, and retrospectives for effective and continuously improving execution and stakeholder alignment. Translate Product Owner’s priorities and requirements into sprints that deliver tangible value-based increments. Be accountable for delivery success, through direct commitment to delivery dates, risk mitigation, and impediment elimination. Assess and improve velocity within and across squads, driving productivity and predictability continuous improvement. Public -
Required Skills
Core Experience: Must have previous Scrum Master experience with Data & Analytics / Data Applications / Business Intelligence projects.
Note: Candidate does NOT need to be a former Data Analyst or Engineer, but must understand data delivery nuance (data environments, versioning, deployment rather than standard software engineering).Seniority &
Certifications: Mid to Senior-level Scrum Master experience required (does not need 20+ years, but needs a solid track record).
Certifications: (CSM, PSM, etc.): Optional / Low Priority. Experience and soft skills outweigh paper certifications. Industry Domain: Open, provided they have experience with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations, Logistics, Commercial complexity - any company where they'd have a factoryexample: avoid pure government background Soft Skills & Delivery Mindset: Accountability & Results-Oriented: Someone that is willing to commit to target dates and hold developers accountable. Need someone realistic and flexible, NOT looking for rigid adherence to pure Agile \"manifestos\" if it jeopardizes business delivery commitments.
