About the role

The Company We're Lucerna, a small company running three brands in the HR space: Matchr connects HR buyers with software vendors. HRinsidr is a newsletter read by HR pros. ClevrHR helps people prep for HR certifications. We're about 10 people, and we're hiring our first in-house paid media person. This is a hands-on performance marketing job. You'll help shape the plan with our CMO, but most of your week will be spent inside the ad platforms: building campaigns, writing ads, fixing tracking, and deciding what to kill and what to scale. If you like strategy but don't want to be in the accounts yourself, this isn't the role.
What you'll do: Build and run campaigns on Google, Meta, LinkedIn, and Reddit, end to end. Run email blasts, newsletter placements, and sponsorships with HR associations and publishers. Grow HRinsidr's list with subscribers who actually open and click. Launch acquisition for ClevrHR and test paid channels for Matchr. Help build out our affiliate programs. Own your numbers, and tell us where the next dollar should go. You're probably a fit ifYou have 2–4 years of hands-on paid media experience. You've run $10k+/month on Google and Meta. You set up your own tracking and can figure out why data doesn't match. You write your own ad copy. You'd rather prove yourself with results than wait for a title. It's a plus if you've done Reddit or LinkedIn ads, affiliate programs, publisher buys, or anything in the HR space. Pay$65–80k base plus a performance bonus.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
