Asphalt Superintendent - Reno

Job Responsibilities: Operations & Field Execution Oversee and manage asphalt paving, grinding, sealcoating, and maintenance projects Lead field crews and ensure productivity, accountability, and performance Coordinate daily jobsite logistics, scheduling, and material flow Conduct site visits to evaluate scope and ensure readiness Maintain quality control throughout all phases of work Identify and resolve field issues efficiently Project Management Support Work closely with estimators and project managers to execute scope Review plans, specifications, and job requirements Ensure projects are completed on time and within scope Safety & Compliance Enforce all safety standards and jobsite protocols Ensure compliance withOSHAregulations Promote a culture of safety and accountability across crews Job Requirements Minimum 5 years of experiencein asphalt paving or heavy civil construction Prior experience as aSuperintendent or Foreman in a leadership role Proven ability to manage crews, production, and jobsite operations Strong understanding of asphalt equipment and processes Ability to read plans, specifications, and project scopes Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred) Preferred Traits: Self-starter with strong initiative High level of accountability and ownership Strong communication and leadership abilities Organized and able to manage multiple jobs simultaneously Flexible schedule with availability for extended hours and occasional weekends
