New Business Sales Specialist At Pregis, growth is a way of life. The Sales Specialist will drive new business growth for our Foam-in-Place (FIP) product line across the South Central Territory by identifying, qualifying, and converting new business opportunities. Working closely with distributors, end users, field sales teams, and product management, this role will focus on expanding market share and building a strong pipeline of new customers throughout the territory. Key Responsibilities Identify, target, and develop new Foam-in-Place business opportunities within the assigned territory. Conduct prospecting activities through phone outreach, email campaigns, networking, and in-person customer visits. Build relationships with distributors, channel partners, and end users to generate qualified opportunities. Schedule and conduct customer meetings, product demonstrations, and solution presentations. Collaborate closely with field sales representatives, product management, and sales leadership to advance opportunities and secure new business. Leverage market intelligence and territory data to identify high-potential prospects. Support national and regional growth initiatives focused on expanding Foam-in-Place market penetration. Maintain accurate pipeline activity, customer information, and sales forecasts within CRM systems. Represent Pregis professionally at customer sites, industry events, and distributor meetings. Achieve territory growth objectives through new account acquisition and revenue generation. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Packaging, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Minimum 3 years of sales, business development, account management, or customer-facing experience preferred. Demonstrated success prospecting and developing new business opportunities. Experience within packaging, manufacturing, industrial products, distribution, or related B2B industries is preferred. Skills & Competencies Strong prospecting and business development skills. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities. Proven ability to build relationships and influence customer decision-makers. Self-motivated and highly organized with effective time-management skills. Strong problem-solving and consultative selling capabilities. Mechanical aptitude and ability to understand packaging equipment and systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms. Strong professional ethics and customer-focused mindset. Travel & Work Environment Remote-based position located within the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX or Greater Los Angeles, CA metro area. Approximately 60% travel throughout the assigned territory.
