About the role
- Partner with private equity and private credit deal teams, risk, operations, accounting, and tax to manage liquidity and the use of leverage across a range of fund structures, including open-ended, closed-end, and separately managed accounts
- Own the forecasting framework that projects fund-level cash flows: pipeline deployment, investor contributions and redemptions, distributions, realizations, and debt activity
- Oversee daily cash positioning, borrowing capacity, and leverage levels against portfolio targets and investment guidelines
- Lead the origination, structuring, and negotiation of fund financing with bank and non-bank lenders, including capital call lines, NAV loans, and asset-backed facilities
- Set and track risk limits for leverage, liquidity, and cash buffers, and escalate exceptions as portfolios scale
- Run currency hedging across a multi-currency investment book
- Make sure forecasting inputs from across the firm are timely, consistent, and reliable enough to support capital allocation decisions
- Manage, develop, and coach a team of junior analysts and associates
- 8+ years in investment management, with at least 3 years directly managing liquidity, treasury, or financing for private markets portfolios
- Hands-on experience with evergreen or perpetual capital vehicles
- Direct exposure to fund-level credit facilities such as subscription lines, NAV financing, or asset-backed lending; a structured finance background is a plus
- Strong command of treasury products, lender relationships, and the fund financing market
- Advanced financial modeling skills
- Ability to build analytical tools and work with data, including Python, R, SQL, or similar
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
