Human Resources Staffer Glens Falls, NY | Full-Time | HealthcareA healthcare facility in the Glens Falls area is looking for a Human Resources Staffer to help support the day-to-day employee experience and keep HR operations running smoothly. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and handling a variety of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Your Role:
You will work closely with facility leadership, employees, Payroll, Benefits, and other departments to support the facility's HR needs.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing employee timecards and helping resolve payroll issues Assisting employees with benefit-related questions and coordinating with the Benefits team Supporting the onboarding process for new employees Completing and tracking required background checks, reference checks, license verifications, and other employment requirements Recruiting for open positions and helping identify staffing needs Reviewing applicants, conducting candidate screens, and participating in interviews Maintaining accurate employee and HR records Attending facility meetings and assisting with HR-related projects Handling additional responsibilities as needed to support the facility
What You Bring:
Previous HR, recruiting, staffing, or related experience Knowledge of basic HR practices and employee administration Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organization and attention to detail Good judgment and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy healthcare environmentHR education or a degree in Human Resources is a plus Why This Role This is a hands-on position where you will have an opportunity to work directly with employees and facility leadership while playing an important role in recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, benefits, and compliance.
