You will:
Shepherd, disciple, and develop current youth worship leaders and musicians. (30%)
Prepare and practice leading worship in weekly Six 78 services. (HSM/campuses if available) (15%)
Schedule worship team for all weekly services in Six 78
Find, arrange, and chart music for the student worship teams.
Manage online databases of songs, schedules, charts, volunteers.l
Attend necessary Youth, Family and Worship meetings (10%)
Identify, Recruit, and train up new singers and musicians to serve. (5%)
Oversee Youth Encounter worship with HSM Worship Leader (5%)
Collaborate with Worship Ministry through meetings, leading at various services and events, and scheduling students to serve in main sanctuary, and development of students musically (5%)
Coordinate with the FTL Youth Director to reach students effectively. (5%)
Shepherd, disciple, develop and be available for counseling and discipleship of current youth as opportunities arise. (5%)
Lead, plan and execute youth discipleship opportunities, events and outreaches. This includes off and on campus opportunities for students to engage in community outside of regular service times. (10%)
Assist in various youth ministry tasks and ministry opportunities as needed(5%)
Lead a First Priority Club at a local middle school (5%)
You have:
Experience and passion for leading worship
Musical proficiency in both singing and instrumentation
Proficiency in Planning Center and Ableton
The ability to teach and train
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for relating effectively with staff members, leadership and the church body
The ability to identify priorities and work under pressure and deadlines when necessary
Flexibility with good time management skills
What you are required to know:

This is a full-time (40 hours/week) hourly non-exempt position
You may have to work evenings and/or weekends to assist with special events or emergencies
As an employee of and an associate minister of the Gospel, Calvary Chapel expects all employees to:
Participate and lead regular times of prayer, devotion and worship as a regular aspect of your role on staff.
Teach from the Bible in the appropriate environments inclusive of staff meetings, conferences, camps and/or outreach events.

Work Schedule:
Staff culture is important to what we do. To love like family, we require all staff to attend all staff meetings, department meetings and serve with a willing heart especially at all major campus events.
