About the role
At Talent Wealth Recruiting we assist independent Wealth Management firms across the country in hiring top professionals to join their practices. Our client in Lutz, FL is a well-established $500MM+ AUM independent practice in need of an experienced Certified Financial Planner to join their team. This is a unique opportunity as the role will focus on relationship management and financial plan discussions with already established relationships and offers a competitive base salary plus bonus full benefits, profit share, 401k w/ match, and PTO.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare financial planning, asset allocation, and investment performance reports for client meetings Handle client review meetings and presenting of new financial plans to clients Attend client meetings and eventually run meetings on their own Assist in the execution of client recommendations Assist the Senior Advisors in evaluating client financial strategies and decisions by conducting financial analyses on a wide range of investment, tax, estate, and financial planning topics
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higherFINRA series 7 and 66 highly preferred Certified Financial Planner certification required Experience with goals-based planning software (e.g. eMoney, Mone Guide Pro)Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and listening skills Ability to understand and explain sophisticated financial concepts and issues Strong problem-solving skills Detail-oriented, accurate, organized, able to set priorities, self-starter Financial planning/wealth management acumen, judgment, and experience Passionate about doing what is best for clients and limiting conflicts inherent in the broader industry Team player, collaborative, able to work with and through others Desire/ability to work successfully in a small company environment Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Power Point
