The TRG Growth Practice has partnered with one of the most respected and fastest-growing manufacturers' representative firms in the South Central US to identify a Area Sales Manager - in Arkansas who will play a key role in driving market growth for a portfolio of industry leading commercial building products manufacturers.
This is far more than a traditional outside sales role. It is a high impact opportunity to own a well established territory while expanding relationships with distributors, contractors, architects, engineers, and end users. Backed by a premier rep firm with an outstanding reputation, you'll represent best in class manufacturers and have the autonomy to build your business with the support of an experienced leadership team.

What You'll Own Develop and execute a territory growth strategy
Build and strengthen relationships with distributors, contractors, architects, engineers, developers, and end users
Identify and win new project opportunities while expanding existing customer relationships
Drive specification activity and increase market share across key commercial construction segments
Conduct product presentations, customer training, and jobsite visits
Partner closely with manufacturer partners to execute sales initiatives and maximize territory performance
Represent industry-leading product lines at trade shows, customer events, and industry associations
Ideal Background Bachelor's degree preferred
Proven success in outside sales within commercial building products, construction products, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, architectural products, or related industries
Experience selling through distribution and influencing contractors, architects, engineers, and owners
Strong business development and relationship-building skills
