The Senior Full Stack Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications across the entire technology stack—from front-end user interfaces to back-end services, APIs, and databases. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor junior engineers while collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience) 5+ years of professional experience in full stack software development Strong proficiency in front-end technologies (JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular and/or React, and Frontend State Management) Strong proficiency in back-end technologies (e.g., C++< Node.js, Java, Python, C#/.NET) Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB) Deploy and manage applications on Tomcat and IIS web/application servers Solid understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus Strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills Even better, you may have...Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) Familiar with modern JavaScript Tool Chains such as NPMKnowledge of automated testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Selenium) Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation) Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Prior experience mentoring or leading small development teams Contributions to open-source projects You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply! This position is a salary grade 7-8 and ranges from $86,600-$166,200. Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
