Job Description
Job Summary: The SR Assembler is responsible for assembling, rolling, pressing, and testing pneumatic cylinders. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM Pay: $15.00/hour Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform all duties and tasks in a safe and efficient manner. Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly work area. Hand assemble pneumatic cylinders. Set up and operate press tables. Set up and operate testing equipment. Set up and operate rolling machines. Perform in-process inspections to ensure quality standards are met. Communicate quality issues to management and the appropriate upstream personnel. Report maintenance or equipment issues to management. Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience. Ability to work independently while closely following directions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to read simple prints and drawings. Ability to read and understand measurements using a ruler.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, sit, and walk throughout the workday. Ability to frequently grasp, hold, twist, and lift materials and components. Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements as required for assembly work.
