Job Description: Job Description Dan Wood Plumbing, HVAC & Electrical is looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. We are a family-owned company that has built our reputation by taking care of our customers, doing quality work, and treating our employees like an important part of the business. We are looking for an experienced technician who takes pride in their work, can confidently diagnose and repair HVAC systems, and is interested in building a long-term career with a company that values good people. Boiler and hydronic heating experience is highly preferred.
What We're Looking For: The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience diagnosing, servicing, and repairing residential HVAC equipment, including:
  • Gas furnaces
  • Central air conditioning systems
  • Boilers and hydronic heating systems
  • Thermostats and controls
  • Humidifiers and indoor air quality equipment
  • Electrical and low-voltage HVAC components
  • Routine maintenance and system troubleshooting
We are especially interested in technicians who are comfortable working on boilers or who have a strong background in hydronic heating.
Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair residential heating and cooling systems
  • Perform HVAC maintenance and safety inspections
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control-related issues
  • Clearly explain findings and repair options to customers
  • Complete accurate service documentation
  • Maintain a clean and professional work area and company vehicle
  • Provide high-quality workmanship and customer service
  • Work with our service, installation, and management teams to take care of our customers
