Survey Project Manager – Phoenix or Mesa, AZ Target Max : $165,000 cap Realistic Range : $120,000 – $155,000 Must be a hands‑on doer, strong with client relations and business development A leading civil engineering and land surveying firm is seeking a full-time Survey Project Manager to join its team in either Phoenix or Mesa, Arizona . This is an exciting opportunity for a licensed surveyor with proven leadership experience to step into a high‑impact role and manage a wide variety of land surveying projects across the region. This role offers the chance to lead client relationships, mentor survey staff, and oversee the successful execution of projects while ensuring compliance with state and municipal standards. Key Responsibilities Develop project scopes, cost proposals, and negotiate contracts Manage project budgets, schedules, staffing, and deliverables Build and maintain strong client relationships Supervise and mentor survey staff Ensure quality control throughout all phases of a project Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders Qualifications Arizona Registered Land Surveyor (RLS) 10+ years of land surveying experience In-depth knowledge of the Public Land Survey System , Arizona Boundary Survey Minimum Standards , ALTA/NSPS standards , and municipal survey requirements Proficient with Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD Civil 3D Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills Benefits Competitive salary Generous PTO and paid holidays Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with employer matching Life, LTD, and STD insurance Ongoing training and in‑house development programs Team appreciation and community involvement events This is a great opportunity to join a forward‑thinking firm that values innovation, mentorship, and professional development.
