Job Description: Job Description Commercial Electrical Foreman BLVD Electric Inc. - Los Angeles, CA About the Role BLVD Electric Inc., a commercial electrical contractor with 150+ employees serving projects across California, is looking for an experienced Commercial Electrical Foreman to lead crews on commercial buildings, ground-up construction, tenant improvements, hospitality, retail, and multifamily projects. Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate daily activities of commercial electrical crews on job sitesRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings to lay out and lead workEnsure all work complies with NEC codes, local regulations, and safety standardsPlan manpower, materials, tools, equipment, and inspectionsCoordinate with project managers, superintendents, general contractors, inspectors, and other tradesLead installation of conduit, wire, panels, switchgear, lighting, controls, low-voltage/data pathways, rough-in, trim-out, and closeout workIdentify plan conflicts, field conditions, RFIs, and change order items earlyMentor and train apprentice and journeyman electriciansPerform quality control inspections and maintain jobsite safety and housekeepingTrack daily progress, manpower, deliveries, and jobsite conditions, and communicate updates to the project team Requirements Valid California Journeyman Electrician license 5+ years of commercial electrical experience, including 2+ years in a foreman or supervisory roleStrong knowledge of NEC codes and California electrical regulationsProficiency reading and leading work from plans and electrical schematicsProven ability to lead and manage a crew in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication, planning, and field problem-solving skillsValid driver's license, reliable transportation, and basic hand toolsOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred Pay Commercial Electrical Foreman: $37-$42/hourExperienced / Senior Foreman: $42-$47/hourTop-Level Foreman / Field Leadership: up to $50/hour Pay is based on experience, certifications, crew leadership, and the level of responsibility the candidate is ready to take on.
