Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing Dietary Education and Diabetes self-management education and training to individuals and groups according to the Scope of Practice, Standards of Practice, and Standards of Professional performance for Diabetes Educators (ADCES).
Qualifications
Required:
One (1) year experience providing diabetes education to individuals and/or groupsADCES certification or eligible for certification and will complete within six months Registered Dietitian ORRegistered Nurse with current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nursing Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate License
Preferred:
Knowledgeable about current diabetes treatment management. Lead and manage group classes.
Work Hours: 0730-1600
