Saw Operator Job Duties include: Manage the production flow at the designated work center, handling multiple departmental processes including material handling and part finishing. Perform routine machine operations, conduct quality control checks, and complete periodic maintenance on assigned equipment. Read and comprehend all instructions while strictly adhering to company and departmental policies and procedures. Maintain a clean and safe workspace by complying with safety regulations and practicing 6S at all times. Inspect parts for defects and promptly notify leadership regarding any issues with malfunctioning machinery or defective components. Cross-train in other departments and maintain flexibility to work in different areas to help meet unexpectedly high production demands. Other duties as assigned

Saw Operator Requirements may include: Prior practical experience operating band saws. Previous hands-on experience working with table saws. Prior experience functioning as a forklift operator. A basic understanding of standard inspection processes and the ability to use job-specific inspection instruments ranging from rudimentary to advanced. Foundational knowledge of hand tools and materials used in the process, covering metals, plastics, or purchased items.
