Summary:
A leading global food ingredients organization is seeking a Sales Manager to drive growth across the edible nuts portfolio. This role will focus on developing new business, managing strategic customer relationships, and partnering cross-functionally to deliver exceptional commercial results.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and grow B2B customer relationships across North America* Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase sales and market share* Execute sales plans and achieve revenue and profitability objectives* Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, and operations teams to ensure successful order fulfillment and customer satisfaction* Monitor inventory levels, product movement, and market conditions to support business performance* Provide customers with market insights, supply chain expertise, and product recommendations* Maintain awareness of industry trends, customer needs, and competitive activity* Utilize CRM tools and internal systems to manage customer activity and sales forecasting
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Agriculture, Economics, or a related field* 5+ years of sales experience within food ingredients, food manufacturing, or agricultural products* Experience within the nuts, ingredient, or commodity food sectors highly preferred* Proven success in both account management and new business development* Experience negotiating contracts and building long-term customer partnerships* CRM proficiency required; SAP experience is a plus* Excellent communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills
