Role Description: The Field Sales & Services Consultant is a field-based professional responsible for driving territory growth through outside sales, business development, account expansion, customer retention, referrals, and special services sales. This role serves as a primary representative of the Jan-Pro brand in the field and is responsible for driving revenue growth, building strong customer relationships, identifying sales opportunities, supporting Franchisees, and protecting long-term account retention. The Field Sales & Services Consultant actively develops business within an assigned territory by meeting with customers and prospects, conducting site visits, identifying service needs, recommending solutions, and promoting Jan-Pro’s value. This position also supports service quality, account implementation, issue resolution, and Franchisee success to ensure customer satisfaction and sustained revenue growth. This role requires a highly motivated, relationship-driven professional who is comfortable working independently in the field, managing a territory, and balancing customer service with business development responsibilities. The Field Sales & Services Consultant is expected to spend a minimum of 51% of work time in the field engaged in customer-facing and revenue-generating activities.
Qualifications: Must be bilingual English / Spanish Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with clients and internal teams. Consulting and Customer Satisfaction skills to assess client needs and recommend appropriate service solutions. Analytical Skills to evaluate site conditions, interpret customer feedback, and support data-informed recommendations. Experience in field sales, account management, or business development, preferably in commercial services or facilities-related industries. Ability to work on-site across San Diego County, manage a local territory, and maintain a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Comfort with using CRM tools, basic office software, and maintaining accurate records of prospects, proposals, and agreements. Self-motivated, organized, and able to meet sales goals while providing service-focused support to clients. High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, sales, or related fields is beneficial.
