About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector with a strong background in aerospace manufacturing and precision inspection.
Responsibilities:
Perform in-process and final inspections of machined and sheet metal components Conduct dimensional inspections using precision measuring equipment Operate and set up CMM equipment and inspection programs Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and prepare AS9102 documentation Read and interpret aerospace blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications Apply GD&T requirements accurately Prepare inspection sheets, bubble drawings, and technical documentation Identify and document non-conformances and support required rework Maintain inspection and calibration records Perform first-part approvals and support production quality requirements Work closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure quality standards are met Qualifications 3+ years of experience in aerospace quality inspection 3+ years of experience operating/programming CMM equipment
Required Skills:
Experience with CMM Manager Software Strong knowledge of AS9100, AS9102, ISO 9001, and ITARProficiency in reading aerospace blueprints and applying GD&TExperience with micrometers, calipers, height gauges, optical comparators, and other precision inspection equipment Knowledge of First Article Inspection processes Familiarity with CATIA, ENOVIA, Discus, Microsoft Office, and related quality/engineering software is a plus Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
