By joining our Warren County Equipment Unit 212 as a Transportation Auto and Truck Technician I in Warren County, you’ll have the opportunity to Learn to maintain District wide equipment, including trackhoes, dump trucks, loaders, pumps, etc. Summary of Responsibilities Change oil and hydraulics fluids. Search out electrical problems. Maintain equipment during snow and ice operations. Computer monitoring of equipment. Work on small and large equipment. Ideal candidate will have experience inComputer skills Mechanic skills Understanding importance of safety and willingness to promote safe work environments CDL license or able to obtain Operating equipment

Minimum Requirements: EDUCATIONHigh school graduate. EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLSMust have two years of automotive/equipment/truck repair technical experience. Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCEVocational or technical school training in automotive/truck repair or a related area will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.)Must be 18 years of age. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license to qualify for employment in this job classification.
