About the role

Production Kettle Operator is a full-time, non-exempt, hourly position with company benefits on the 3rd shift. You will be trained to operate the reactors, pumps, conveyors, and scales used to produce biodegradable polymerized and oxidized oils, blends, esters, and waxes. You will comply with all safety regulations and PPE requirements and follow batch instructions for loading, monitoring, and in-processing testing of the products being produced. Other responsibilities: Operate, maintain, and clean manufacturing equipment and work areas Be alert for changes in the operation of the equipment that might signal failure, troubleshoot, and notify appropriate management and maintenance personnel Monitor and adjust pH levels of production wastewater and document results Maintain written logs Load and unload bulk liquid shipments as needed Complete production orders and requests in a timely fashion Understand, evaluate, and execute tests and procedures required to monitor production batches properly.

Physical Demands: Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl Frequently lift 55 lbs. at a time, move full drums (up to 530 lbs.) with manual drum truck Frequently climbing stairs and ladders with PPEAbility to wear a respirator, hearing protection, and other PPEQualifications and Education Previous experience in production, chemical manufacturing, or related fields Must be able to work overtime 3rd shift hours: 12 am to 8 am Training will be on rotating shifts High school diploma minimum
