****Public Accounting Experience Required****Senior Accountant– Technical Accounting & Special ProjectsAbout the OpportunityWe are partnering with a growing professional services organization that helps clients navigate complex accounting, financial reporting, and business transformation initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of high-impact projects across multiple industries while collaborating with experienced finance and accounting professionals.If you're looking to leverage your public accounting background in a dynamic, project-based environment with exposure to diverse clients and challenging engagements, we'd love to connect.ResponsibilitiesPartner with clients on complex accounting, financial reporting, and finance transformation initiatives.Research and apply U.S. GAAP guidance to technical accounting matters.Assist with financial statement preparation, SEC reporting, and disclosure requirements.Support mergers, acquisitions, carve-outs, integrations, and other strategic transactions.Participate in IPO readiness, process improvement, and finance transformation projects.Evaluate internal controls and recommend improvements to accounting processes.Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to support business decisions.Collaborate with client leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes.Manage multiple client engagements while meeting project deadlines.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.3+ years of public accounting or relevant industry experience.Big 4 or large public accounting experience preferred.CPA or active pursuit of CPA preferred.Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.Experience with technical accounting, SEC reporting, or transaction-related projects is a plus.Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work across multiple client engagements.What You'll GainOpportunities to work on complex accounting, reporting, and strategic finance initiatives.A collaborative, high-performing team environment.Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.Ongoing professional development and career growth opportunities.
